	Project Background In 2006, UW-Madison students voted to renovate Memorial Union and build a new, larger, better and environmentally sustainable south campus union. During decommissioning, demolition and new construction, various services and programs hosted at the former Union South will be relocated until the new Union opens in Spring 2011.
